The Township has contracted with Reivax Contracting to replace the portion of our water main on Mount Arlington Boulevard between Landing Road and Reed Road.

Workers are expected to mobilize and get ready to start construction the week of April 16 with actual construction starting the week of April 23. The construction duration is anticipated to be 90 days.  Work will only take place Mon. - Fri. 9am to 4pm+/-.  At the beginning of the project, northbound Landing Road will be closed and traffic detoured to Shippenport Road. This detour is expected to be in effect for 3-5 working days.

This closure will again be necessary later in the project for a similar short term period. During these detours, eastbound traffic from Hopatcong will be directed to southbound Landing Road and not be able to continue across Landing Road along Mount Arlington Boulevard.

Roxbury Township Police will be assisting with traffic control during the project duration. A similar short term detour will be necessary when work is being performed on Shippenport Road. Traffic will be detoured to Landing Road and will be in effect for approximately 3-5 days at two separate times during the project.

While work is being done along Mount Arlington Boulevard the eastbound lane will be closed to traffic and the westbound lane used to alternate traffic in both directions by the Roxbury Police Department.
