Our Road Department is responsible for the complete maintenance and repairs to improve over 100 miles of road within the Township.

Seasonal and on-going responsibilities include:

Maintenance and repairs of roadways

Road resurfacing

Road striping

Roadside mowing

Sign replacement

Snow plowing and sanding

Storm sewer construction

Street sweeping

Tree trimming

Trench repairs



  • Remove basketball hoops from the roadways to eliminate any possibility of damage.
  • Parking is prohibited on all streets when snow/ice covered.
  • Residents must remove snow/ice from the sidewalk within 24 hours after any storm.
  • It is the responsibility of the resident to remove snow/ice from a fire hydrant that is located on their property or within the right of way abutting the property.
  • Shoveling, blowing or plowing snow into the roadway is prohibited.
  • Please inform any plowing contractors that plowing snow into the street is prohibited.

Remember that a snowplow operator's field of vision is restricted.

You may see them, but they may not see you!
